My super cool cousin Emily and I designed a board game together. She was all the brains behind it, to be honest, but I was still involved! I'm really proud of her and wanted to share our game with you. There are rules for ages 3-6, 6-9, and 9 and up.
Page 1 & 2 are fronts and backs of 9 cards, 3 & 4 are fronts and backs of the next 9, etc.
If you'd like to try this out right now, get some card stock, make sure your double sided printing isn't set to print every other page upside down (sometimes they are), and print and cut your cards. Find a ball or a makeshift die, depending on which version of the rules you're trying out.
If you'd like to go all out and buy all the nicest things, first buy some 2.75" square game cards. You'll need 40, and you can find them, I promise. Then buy some Avery labels #94104. These are 2.5" square stickers, and the PDFs used this template will print onto them perfectly. You'll need 80 labels, or 9 sheets of 9 labels. Then buy yourself a 3-inch fuzzy white die for third grade and up or a wiffle ball for the little ones. Stick your labels onto your cards, front and back, and you'll be good to go.
Note: The final page, or the melted wild cards, prints out 8 squares, but you'll only need 4. I designed the template this way on purpose so that if you're using an Avery label sheet, you can first print out the wild card fronts, remove those labels, and re-use that sheet to print out the backs.
