Valley View Kindergarten

I really couldn't be more impressed with Valley View.  Drakeson was invited to visit yesterday to get ready for kindergarten, and he had a wonderful time.  He claimed his favorite spot in the classroom, read stories with me in the book nook, introduced himself to his new teacher, made a few friends, found his locker, and brought home some special bedtime confetti and bubbles.  Needless to say, he was more than ready to head out the door at 7:00 on the dot this morning.  In fact, this year's pictures are a little grainy because the sun wasn't up yet.

First, although this doesn't belong on this list, I should mention that I cried several times.
If there were one word I would use to describe Drakeson, it would be curious.
He also never stops talking, and he scolds everyone who interrupts him.
Generally speaking, he's a very happy, sensitive, and loving boy.
Although most children are probably this way, I'm constantly amazed by his creativity.
He loves his sister more than anything, even though she doesn't treat him particularly well.
He prefers his hair down with long sleeved clothing because it's "fancy."
His favorite colors are red, purple, and pink.
He plays games that require a lot of imagination and makes his friends play them too.
Speaking of imagination, Orange Mouse still visits from time to time.
Drakeson gets nauseous when he eats an early breakfast.
He goes to the bathroom without any help and prefers the Men's.
He's still pretty terrified of hand dryers.
He loves anything Star Wars.
He wears knee socks on his arms.  We don't know why.
He still fits in underwear labeled 2T/3T.
He's a great little swimmer, and will begin training with 360 Aquatics in two weeks.
He has made a tremendous amount of progress studying piano this past year.
He loves curvy brunettes that are over the age of 20.
From what I can tell, there is no upper limit.
Drakeson only eats the treat in his lunch if he has finished "all the healthy food."
His little brown tooth keeps looking littler.  And maybe browner.
His most irritating quality is spacing out and ignoring his parents.
He asks George for Minion stories every night and every time they're alone together.
He's a product of his parents and loves both He-Man and legos.
He pees in his pants just a little bit.
He loves all stone fruits.
His funniest words are shushi, gigima, and scuberdiver.
